3300S Tandem Tamper

3300S Tandem Tamper

Harsco Rail's Model 3300S Tamper can be used to increase surfacing gang productivity by tandem tamping behind a Model 6700 Production/Switch Tamper. It can also be used by itself for tamping turnouts. The 3300S is also an excellent tie gang tamper.

Sharing workhead design with the 6700 Production/Switch Tamper, the 3300S consistently matches the 6700's heavy-duty capacity and high-speed capability, tie for tie.

The four independently mounted workheads feature hydraulically driven vibrator motors for superior performance and ease of repair.

Like the 6700, the 3300S' operator cab offers excellent visibility of the tamping units and track for both work and travel modes.
